Creatures of the Wastes
While some creatures are well known a lot are considered a bit of a story or tale. Information here will only be filled out as creatures become knowledge to the games players.
Wolves of the Maelstrom
Monstrous beasts of unknown shape and size, changing from wolves to humans to indescribable monsters. Their soul purpose is both to protect and capture Child-Things and bring them back into the Maelstrom. Very few survive an encounter with one of these beasts.

Dune Worms
Worms of Enormous size, so big that the largest ones can threaten entire settlements. They live way out in the dunes and far from most settlements anyways, but should you encounter one remain still as long as you can. They sense tremors in the ground and hunt their prey based on movement. The problem is you can't leave that spot until the worm leaves, but that rarely ever happens so have fun starving to death.
