Main Races
Humans
Humans are the most common race in the wastes. Not being particularly specialized in anything they are good at a bit of everything. Humans can be found anywhere doing anything. They are good to know, but not to rely on.
Food: 1 / day (min 1/ week)
Water: 2 / day (1 / 3 days)
Elves
Elves have a very monetized community. Elves tend to be in positions of power having access to resources like water or food, and connections to settlements. Elves are great people to know if you want a friend in power, but they tend to dislike non elves as they are dirty and less privileged. Crossing one elf could get you on bad terms with many settlements.

Water: 1 / day (1 / 4 days)
Fetchling
An offshoot of human born deep underground in labyrinthine caverns known as the "Caverns of Sol". This place is always kept in pure darkness, and having been that way their whole lives the Fetchlings are not used to having sources of light around. Fetchlings in the wastes have no trouble seeing in any type of darkness, but tend to have a bit of trouble seeing in brightly lighted areas.

Dwarves
Dwarves are masters of fire and metal. They can fix and build almost anything, and have kept the knowledge of the brew. Dwarven communities are inviting, but also not something you want to mess with. Dwarves stick together and won't back down from a fight. They generally flock around large metal/scrap resource areas.

Orcs
Orcs are brutish fighters only wanting to kill and eat. They thrive on war machines, murder, and pillaging. They take what they want when they want and are tough enough to do so. Because they require less food and water than most races they can survive on very little for long periods of time. Seeing an Orc in the wastes is usually a run or die situation.
Food: 1 / 3 days (min 1/ week)
Water: 1 / week (1 / 2 weeks)
Goblins
Goblins are frail but very skilled. Having a goblin as a "Blackfinger" is such a valuable asset that most goblins are safe from harm simply because of their necessity. Goblins are known to be able to fix even the most destroyed war machine even while it is moving. Their crazy antics tend to kill them off more than food and water as they generally can eat anything without being diseased.
Food: 1 / 3 days (min 1/ week)
Water: 1 / 3 days (1 / 1 week)
Gnomes
Gnomes are very rare. They were wiped out as a food source by other races. Some still exist but they are considered more valuable as pets, slaves, or food. Gnomes tend to be great shots if they can get their hands on a gun and ammunition, but with how rare it is in the Wastes they can barely defend themselves.

Water: 1 / day (1 / 3 days)
Halflings
Halflings became feral when food became scarce. Being used to large amounts of food and meals Halflings turned to cannibalism and eating other races to sate their hunger. While Halfings can be talked to and reasoned with, most races fear being eaten by them. While a single Halfling can be found in the Wastes it is highly likely more Halflings are lying in wait nearby.

Water: 1 / week (1 / 3 weeks)

Blood: 1 / week (feral 1 / 3 weeks)
Ratfolk
Ratfolk are wanderers of the desert and are great scavengers. They seem to be able to live in the desert without access to food or water simply from their scavenging prowess.
