The Arrival

DESCRIPTION

Arriving over the dunes, Bucket Town, tends to be the first settlement wanderers see. against the sky Bucket Town stands as a city built into the side of a large ridge covered in scrap metal walls and large metal towers. The largest tower stands in the center of the town and rises against the skyline. It stands out because it's shiny and chrome in colour.

Coming out over the dunes each of the players will arrive in bucket town. You each start a ways off from the main gate so that you can all find your own way in. A steady stream of travelers seem to flood in and out of the main gate, and there are obviously battlements on the walls checking the perimeter of the town.

Malla looks at the city and whispers to her bunny "We found a town." She then looks at Anzin with the most innocent happiest child smile and says "Look daddy a town. Maybe we can find something to open our cans and get the yum yums out." She then listens to what the bunny is saying. Mimzy says "We need to feed Anzin or he will die." Malla looks back at Anzin giving an innocent smile and says "Mimzy says it's a good idea too!"

(I am going to assume that they are cans of stew.  I made the bunny speak in black because most likely I am the only one who needs to know what it says since I am the only one who can hear it talk. Plus I figured people can highlight it. )

Hearing his daughter mention the town and suggest it may have something that can help them open their cans of food Anzin says "Good idea Malla. Let us get into the town and get ourselves something to open our cans." He then turns to his side and shouts "Nobody asked you Arine!" He then grabs Malla's hand and starts taking her to the main gate hoping to be let in. Anzin approaches the line and waits for their turn.

(Well then. Let us see if we can get in the easy way shall we?   )

Barnabus tugged down on his hat as the wind began to pick up, the sand flying up into his face like a swarm of gnats. It had been a difficult journey for the Tortle Caravan Master. The sandstorm was so strong, he had gotten lost while scavenging for his favorite treat, Mayonnaise. He grumbled when the wind finally died down, his throat feeling dryer than a slug in a salt factory. The Barnabus leaned against his staff s he reached into his shelf for a water skin. He took a delicate sip before spitting out sand.

"Dagnabbit!" He said turning over the bottle only for sand to pour out. "Well, if that didn't get my goat! Ain't nothin will!"


He walked over the sand dune and smiled at the sight of Bucket Town. "Thank ya Tortle Jesus!"

"YYYYEEEEHHHHAAAA!" Barnabus said, jumping off of the sand dune as he slid down it like a toboggan on he back of his shell. He steered with his wooden staff, shoving off of rocks and hooking onto objectives to swerve around rocks and cacti.

Appearance:

It's been a hell of a journey through these dunes. Incendia could see the town off in the distance, she had been traveling on foot for days.

"Looks like a settlement." She spoke under her scarf. The sands have not been kind to her, she lost her companion during a sandstorm, was lucky to have some supplies to last her travels. Incendia was starting to feel her exhaustion weigh down on her, her vision fading a little.

She had no choice but to take chances, worst case they capture her or try to kill her. Such is life.

She continued to walk towards the structure. With her face covered and sand goggles , she looks no more than a regular person approaching. Her tail is tucked within her pants.

DESCRIPTION (Malla & Anzin)
Approaching the front gate a large line loomed in front of them. A Couple of elves, and a lot of humans all along the length. Various grounds of wagons and caravans, but all looked like they were down on their luck.

At the main gate there were 2 large humanoid figures covered entirely in chrome sprayed scrap armor covering their face. (ROLL PASSED) Malla noticed that the guards seemed to be human war boys because of their paint. She doesn't know too much about them, but figured this might be a human heavy city. This also meant that they were well trained in combat.

The line moved on and eventually Anzin and Malla Approached the front where the gate and the two guards were in front of them. The two guard look down and for a second say nothing. (ROLL PASSED) Anzin noticed the guards focus on him. They had a concerned look on their face underneath their armor. It was difficult to see. (Roll Failed) Malla didn't notice anything off about the guards except that they seemed focused on Anzin.

"What do you want you little hairy thing...", said one of the guards to Anzin, "And why do you have a child with you. Little girl don't you realize what your travelling with?"


DESCRIPTION (Barnabus)
(ROLL PASSED) Barnabus successfully navigates down the hill without hitting anything and slides up to the line y the front gate (similar to above). A few positions back from the front the line stopped. There seemed to be someone the guard was stopping to talk to. (Roll Passed) Barnebus would notice a small couple of halflings at the front of the line holding it up. Halflings were known cannibals and very rare near civilization.


DESCRIPTION (Incendia)
Incendia made it to the line looking no different than your normal human waiting to enter Bucket Town. (Roll Failed) The line moved smoothly until stopping suddenly and Incendia ran itno the person in front of her knocking him down. It was an elf of some sort, "Hey watch where your..."

(Roll Passed)The elf upon turning around and jaw dropped. "I'm sorry...I didn't realize you were so..." he paused taking a moment to look Incendia over, "You can take my spot here." He waved for her to step in front of him. There was a Tortle in the line in front of this new spot.

Incendia brushed herself off after knocking down the elf, she didn't think much of what he said as he offered his place, "Thanks".
